About Himalayan Arts Language&Cultural Academy

The Himalayan Arts Language and Cultural Academy (HALCA), founded in 2014 in Akron, Ohio, by Puspa Gajmer, is dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Nepali people. Through education, artistic expression, and community engagement, HALCA empowers immigrants and refugees while fostering cross-cultural understanding. We offer programs in the Nepali language, music, dance, Reiki, and meditation—free to those in need. HALCA serves as a vibrant bridge between cultures, nurturing identity and unity across generations.

Our Mission
